Red face - maturing or something else?

Good morning! I posted on an existing thread about this under a different forum but I’m not sure if it was seen. I recently noticed a lot of redness on the face of one of my six-week old chicks. She’s supposed to be a pullet but I’m wondering if she’s a cockerel, or if the redness is from something else. She’s a Blue Star from Ideal Poultry, which is a cross between a Blue Andalusian and a Barred Rock. The comb is still black but is starting to change color. What do y’all think? Just reddening as she matures, or is she a cockerel, or does she have some skin condition I need to take care of? None of my other 6-week olds have this going on and she’s even redder than most of my 12-week old pullets.

Not an expert here on this hybrid, but wouldn't this cross be a sex link?

Males should be barred, especially by 6 weeks.

It’s possible. Ideal Poultry has Blue Australorps, but I bought her from a feed store that gets their chicks from Ideal, and Blue Australorp wasn’t listed as an option when I purchased her.

Alright, from my research it looks like Sapphire Gems are a bit different from Blue Stars. Sapphire Gem is a cross between Blue Star (Blue Plymouth Rock) and a Barred Plymouth Rock. The Blue Star is a cross between Andalusian and Barred Plymouth Rock. So, would the Blue Star still have this same sex linking? I know zilch about genetics and how they work

My knowledge is limited also especially on these that's why I posted the screen shots above. I would think the barring would apply to males making them sex links but the photo above from Ideal, I can't see any barring in the male. They only say sex linked at hatch by head spot and slightly different hatch down colors.
This would make me 'guess' their using a BR Roo x Andalusian Hen, but I could be completely wrong there.

Can you show a picture of the other pullets you have for comparison. I don’t see obvious signs of being a cockerel. An Andalusian to barred rock cockerel would be barred no matter what way around the cross was.

She’s my only Blue Star so I don’t have anyone to compare her to unfortunately!

Do you not have other chickens of the same age? I see a man exchequer leghorn or the likes near her. Any breed at the same age will do.
