Random question for snake lovers. Would you feed your snakes rodents that cats catch? I was wondering about all the “waisted” rodents that are brought to cat owners and if some of them could be put to use. Idk if you have to worry about disease or anything from wild rodents. This was all promoted by my cat bringing me a shrew this morning.

I wouldn't risk it. Wild mice can bring mites, diseases, and other things that could possibly harm your snake. Much better to just buy frozen ones that have had a good diet, which is important for the health of your snake.

Thanks! She is a normal het blood. I love the salmon on her sides and bellly, and her tail, and her eyes and her little mustache...lol ok i pretty much love everything about her!
