Ack!! So cute! I have a big soft spot for snakes and beardies, especially ball pythons! After a long wait I was finally able to get one myself! We got into reptiles because of Brian Barczyk on YouTube. We have three snakes and a bearded dragon. The black pastel was hatched by Brian himself.
Oh wow that’s awesome!!!!!!!!!I've always loved reptiles and amphibians. In the 60's/70's before Southern California became overpopulated humans, there were reptiles and amphibians. I lived near Fountain Valley in Costa Mesa. There were Horn Toads, Blue Belly fence lizards, Desert Tortoise, invasive Anoles from the pet trade, Toads, and snakes like the California King. Now you can count yourself lucky to see a toad in your garden. I no longer live there, but I am entertained daily on facebook by the folks at The Reptile Zoo located in Fountain Valley. If you want to see some awesome snakes, watch some of their videos. I'm going to CA later this year. I would love to go to this Reptile Zoo during feeding time. https://www.facebook.com/thereptilezoo
Soooo...Zuri, my 5-year-old Bearded Dragon I've had for just 3 months, just laid 22 eggs....I was told by her previous owner that she never laid eggs her whole life. I don't know what to think about that...
Thanks! I did read that it can happen. But do you know why it happens? That’s entirely normal! My sister’s beardie laid more than 30 last year! She had never laid an egg in her life before! Just make sure to feed her an extra nutritious diet until she gets her weight back.
