Hello, first post on here... I have 7 chickens, 1 Orp, 2 Golden Wyandottes, 2 Australorps, and 2 Isa Browns. I am new to having Chickens and my wife and I love them!

We have been getting eegs from our 3 oldest hens, and are waiting on our youngest 4 to start laying.

I believe this guy is a rooster, but I am not sure... I don't think that my flock really needs a rooster (although Im in the country and could have one). Im trying to decide whether to give "him" to a friend, but I figured I'd confirm with the experts :)

He has not crowed or made any noises that I've heard yet, but his/her came in faster than the other Australorp and it seems to have larger legs.. let me know what you think please!

Ill include a picture of my coop mid construction too!

Thanks!
