Scissor beak :(

Got this easter egger chick from IFA, and I know EE's are more susceptible to scissor beak but I just didn't notice this when we bought her a few days ago. She eats and drinks just fine, but her beak is slightly off. Will this get worse over time? Or did she get lucky and it's not very severe? My quick Google search said that scissor beak gets worse over time Is this true?

Scissor beak usually worsens as they grow since everything sort of shifts and moves around as they grow into full size. Some birds do fine despite it, especially mild cases, others need a lot more hands on management or they'll fail to thrive.

Incidentally if your store takes "returns" it's not a store I would ever purchase from, it's a huge biosecurity risk to allow birds to leave the store and return.

I can't figure out how to delete posts. But I guess based on my research that it will continue to get worse. This blog I found helped a lot. My chick looks a lot like the first pic of her chick when she first discovered it. And then her chick got much much worse as it got older.
