Should I help chick out of egg?!?

Hello I’ve got a bantam Cochin egg/chick that’s been pipped for 24 hours. I picked at the egg to see if it’s was alive and it is but now there’s a little bit of blood and I don’t know if I should help it out of the egg never had this happen before and I’ve heard it’s not good to help out but just don’t know what to do!!

I’m sure it’s past hatch now but next time, wrap it in a warm wet rag for a few minutes and peel some bits of eggshell off, be careful though.
