I just set most of my silkie eggs in lockdown. 2 should be silkie + bantam brahma.

Cute! I could try that. I have a bantam Brahma mix (in my pfp) and a bunch of Silkie roosters.. Maybe once they start mating her. Definitely keep us updated!

My silkie × bantam brahma chick hatched today. The other one's due to hatch next week. So far looks like it has black skin and 5 toes. Feet are a light color. Can't wait to see how it's gonna grow up. I hope it'll be a pullet. The black one in the picture is it's sibling.

Her father is a paint silkie, her mother is a tolbunt frizzle polish.

I have an update on my little silkie × bantam brahma chick. It is really pretty. It's like silver with dark stripes and spots on the head.
In the last 2 pictures it's with it's half sibling. Both have the same dad, but the black one is pure silkie. They kept trying to eat each other's toes while taking pictures.
