Silkie...Extra toe?

I just noticed one of my chicks has an extra toe, the lady I got hatching eggs from said there is some silkie crossed hens in her flock. All the eggs I got were unknown barnyardmixes and this chick can out of a bluer egg. Can I assume this chick came from one of the silkie cross hens or is this just a deformity ?
