I believe the turkeys this year are coming from Foster Farms, which is why they are BBW. I agree that they should pardon a couple heritage turkeys, though. At least they'll live a little longer. Use those two BBWs to feed a couple of unfortunate families out there.

Hey now, here's a question... WHY HATCH THE DANG THING IN THE FIRST PLACE!

This bird is bred specifically for a publicity stunt. From incubation on they KNEW it would never grace a table, that it would live out it's life, eventually suffering a rather unpleasant SLOW death... never being able to mate...

Just like getting your dog snipped to prevent unwanted pups that'll end up in the pound... except in this case this bird COULD be going to a family that otherwise won't be eating a nice meal on Thanksgiving... instead, as far as I'm concerned, the bird (and all the feed he's eaten) has just been wasted.

You guys are taking this all to seriously, it is just a pr gig that every president does. I wouldn't be surprised that the pardoned turkeys still end up on the table.

BTW I am no Obama fan but I think there are better things to worry about.
