The Nice Rooster/Cockerel Thread

This is my nice boy. (Obviously from my profile pic.) He looks like a standard-size version of Odie . He's a Speckled Sussex / Rhode Island Red cross. He was hatched out by one of my favorite Speckled Sussex hens, Corky, who would go hatch out chicks in the woods every year (RIP).

He does everything a flock boss should do; he finds treats for his hens, is nice to us, and I usually shake the bag of goodies and he'll come over and I'll give them all to him, but he rarely eats them, just tidbits the hens over and watches his girls eat them all. He's nice to chicks and our dogs as well, so I've been really happy with him.View attachment 3946176

Pip. He was very sweet to me, he attacked everybody else

Cotton. He was a big baby he tried to act tough though

I tried to get my hen with her hat and Cotton with the bow tie in a picture together, but that wasn’t happening
