I spread ½ bale of fresh straw in the dux-house yesterday and around 5pm the distinctive »fresh straw sisters!« dux-purr could be heart from inside. They were so happy!Exactly. It all depends where you are and what you're used to. But even if I'm used to frigid conditions it doesn't mean I like it! Or the birds do!
Just spread out some more straw over the frozen ground and snow for the poor things. They were quite thankful. It also gives them something to dig through and entertain themselves with. As soon as the straw was down, the ducks started flapping to make it fly around!
