The tiny serama; a Hatching adventure

I've tried putting this off as much as possible, but there's no way around it. We had a fox attack Monday morning. Lady Gaga and a young Tsouloufati hen were taken. All his girls are safe, but he's not with us anymore. I loved that little guy so much. He was such an amazing rooster.

Now the bantams are roosterless, their only hope of having a male is that either Fig, Fern, or mixed breed Ubon (the chick that hatched under Ursula) is a male
I am so sorry! :hugs Lady Gaga was the first chicken I heard about you having. I always try to keep one male with every flock as well, they are really great protectors. Hopefully one of your chicks will be a male, but we all know he could never fill in the exact spot that Lady Gaga had!

Thank you :hugs . So far it seems like one definitely is. I won't lie, I'm not thrilled about his conformation. I am not sure if I'll be keeping him, although I want to.

That's why I don't like roosters that play the role of protector this way; they end up getting killed. Kolovos is much smarter in that regard. I loved, and still love Lady Gaga dearly, but that seems like his only flaw; being too good to survive

I would like to extend a massive congratulations for @WoDia on this thread as well. Congratulations for getting the spirit badge, very well deserved:ya!
Thank you so much, my Friend! ❤️ I was quite surprised to find out that I was even nominated. I’ll always do my best to support this wonderful community.
