Those ceilings are more than 20 feet high. The building used to be Tilton's very first grocery store (I don't know why, but grocery stores always have stupidly high ceilings). That thing is UP THERE.

We had a kid, years ago, that threw his applesauce lid(the foil kind) onto the cafeteria ceiling. He frisbee'd it straight up there, over 20 feet high. Damn thing is still up there, probably held on by mold by now

My work ceilings are high too. My boss has an unhealthy hatred for birds nesting in the arena. He'll pay a bounty for knocked down bird nests but of course not many want to climb that high up on a ladder.
I keep a couple 10' pieces of plastic electrical conduct there cause I can connect them and use them without a need for a ladder.
Easy peasy and for years now no one has figured out how I can manage to get so many down.

Leave it as tribute! If he ever returns for whatever reason, or if his kid one day goes there, then they can admire the amazing frizbee'd foil flap.

I did get the hand, though! Too bad it leaked color and goo into the ceiling and now it's permanently stained.

I was too afraid to turn around and take a picture, so I did a "selfie" with the stain to show the boss. Did I mention that I'm terrified of heights?

It’s winter people! Your 4-6 month old “hens” won’t start laying until spring. Honestly, did you not do any research before buying your birds? Or read ANY of the hundreds of exactly the same posts before yours?
