I wish I could say I have NOT had an ear infection for a week as of today and diagnosed Tuesday when I actually went to walk in urgent care and got on meds finally. I ALSO wish I could say the meds were working and I’m not still in on again off again excruciating pain. I go to my PCP on Thursday anyways for unrelated matters so will bring it up then. I might also call/tell someone tomorrow. Just to see what they say. Maybe I could move up my appointment a day or two. Doubt it as he’s extremely busy and always fully booked but you never know. Anyway, that’s what I wish I could say.

I wish I could say that I may not be a few days away from needing my smaller rooster culled. I won't be able to do the deed, because he is still my baby. But my brother had told me before that he could do it for me. I just cannot let that little be alpha in my flock. My big rooster is wounded and now terrified of the smaller one. It may just be because his eye is injured, but if he's lost his alpha status, then the small one needs to go.

This is the biggest carrier we have. He's a bit too big for it. I have him sleeping inside it in the coop, because he was flipping out not seeing his girls; though he thinks it's a punishment, rather than a safety pen.

Or actually put time into it. Chickens are not a passive pet. You have to care for them.

Getting ready for a spa day with big man. It's the only way I'll be able to clean off all of the blood and treat his eye wounds. He wasn't tolerating any of that yesterday.
