Wish I could say I was confident my basement isn’t about to flood. (Sump pumps are working for now but if the water doesn’t slow down it won’t be long before there is seepage.)
And I wish I could say to the people we bought this house from: “you freaking LIARS!! We specifically asked about water coming into the basement and you told us nooooo not since the second sump pump was installed- so when did that happen? Three weeks before you put it up for sale! (in the twenty plus years of living here I think we have had about 5 springs without water coming in)

I wish I could say hubby was able to change the house filter yesterday. He could not budge the housing at all. Now I'm going to call a plumber to come do it. And if they can't, cut the dang thing free and replumb in another one.

I wish I could say we hadn't totally forgotten about changing this filter and had done it months ago with no issues.
