Our 3 - 4 yr old Rhode Island Red, for several days now, will periodically tilt her head up, open her mouth wide then shake her head. On occasion, she will also attempt to scratch at the side of her head. She is the only one of our small flock exhibiting these symptoms. We cannot find any external signs of mites (nor other parasites) and her crop looks normal. We have had a change in feed that may coincide with the timing of these symptoms. She otherwise acts completely normal. We use pine shavings as the bedding in our coop. We have attached a video (compressed in a zip file) for review.
