too early, but mostly cockerels?

It's not super important or urgent I know if these babies are cockerels or pullets but I think noticing all those little differences can be really interesting. I have recently hatched 9 chicks, all are 2 weeks old, I'm thinking I could have mostly boys. Here are some pictures and notes!
IMG_6577.jpeg

Black Copper Maran #1 ( Saiph )
- quick to feather compared to others, smaller more dull comb, smaller size, and more shy behavior make me think this is one is a pullet.
IMG_6555.jpeg

Black Copper Maran #2 ( Nekkar )
- very slow to feather, lack of tail, and tall posturing point to cockerel. Though the comb is smaller and duller than the third Black Copper I'm still thinking its color and size indicate this one is a cockerel.
IMG_6561.jpeg

Black Copper Maran #3 ( Edmund )
- large orange comb, growing waddles/turning a bit pink, slow feathering, and confidence/posturing when I put my hand in the brooder. This one is my most confident guess for cockerel.
IMG_6521.jpeg

Splash Ameraucana #1 ( Larch )
- fast feathering, and curiosity without overt confidence make me think pullet. Though it's so early that I can't be too sure. This ameraucana is larger than the second.
IMG_6519.jpeg

Splash Ameracauna #2 ( Yew )
- Slow feathering on this chick point me towards cockerel at this stage though I'm really not sure for this one yet. This chick is pretty shy, not flighty, but not as outgoing as others, also the smallest chick.
IMG_6588.jpeg

Easter Egger #1 ( Edith )
- feathering not super fast, but not super slow either, comb smaller and paler but too young. Friendliest chick out of all of them, very curious. I'm thinking this could go either way, but something makes me think pullet.
IMG_6565.jpeg

Easter Eggar #2 ( Polaris )
- slow feathering, and overt curiosity/pecking/confidence are what I have noticed so far on this chick, making me think cockerel so far. It could be noted that this chick is one of the smallest.
IMG_6536.jpeg

Olive Egger #1 ( Psyche )
- slow feathering in first week, followed by faster growth week 2. This chick is absolutely massive, with a bigger/more orange comb. Obviously not definitive but I'm thinking it's likely yet another cockerel.
IMG_6544.jpeg

Olive Egger #2 ( Eros )
- slow feathering, and personality make me think this last chick may also be a cockerel. I've been noticing this chick is one to posture near my hand when I put it in there. Definitely smaller than the other olive egger though.

I think I'll update this weekly for the sake of documenting growth/changes.

Edmund is a cockerel. Saiph and Nekkar are pullets. 🙂

I'm not too good on genders for the Eggers and Ameracaunas so this is purely a guess...

I have a sneaky suspicion Psyche and Edith might be boys.

I'm basing on them combs and posture, but again not an expert on these so a guess just for fun.

Black Copper Maran #1 (Saiph)
~ pullet.
IMG_9164.jpeg

Black Copper Maran #2 (Nekkar)
~ feathers finally coming in, no comb growth, pullet.
IMG_9167.jpeg

Black Copper Maran #3 (Edmund)
~ very obvious cockerel, feathers filling out.
IMG_9226.jpeg

Splash Ameracauna #1 (Larch)
~ Comb reddening slightly, makes me think possibly cockerel.
IMG_9188.jpeg

Splash Ameracauna #2 (Yew)
~ A very beaky/pecky chick; smallest.
IMG_9172.jpeg

Easter Egger #1 (Edith)
~ very on the move, comb not growing/not reddening, thinking pullet.
IMG_9206.jpeg

Easter Eggar #2 (Polaris)
~ Chasing older/bigger (7 wk) cockerels around, comb reddening, thinking cockerel.
IMG_9178.jpeg

Olive Egger #1 (Pyche)
~Also chasing older cockerels around, comb reddening/growing, thinking cockerel.
IMG_9199.jpeg

Olive Egger #2 (Eros)
~ comb not growing/stagnant, not very dominant, thinking pullet.

Edmund of course.. I still think Psyche is a boy, but now think Edith is probably a girl. Like I said previously, I'm still not very good with their comb types so just a friendly guess and bump for you.

Babies are 9 weeks old now. I'm confident for all but one chick, who I very much suspect is a cockerel, but I have that little big of (probably false) hope. It's still a bit early for hackles so this is just based on comb.

This is Larch the other splash ameracauna for reference ( definitely a cockerel )

I honestly feel like those are both pullets. I would expect a bigger comb and they have what looks to be very minimal wattle development (though it is hard to be certain). Unless either begin crowing then hope for the best
