Last week I ordered 10 chicks from TSC. I ordered the “color egg production pack” linked here: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/color-egg-production-pack-chicken-sold-in-quantities-of-10
I got the chicks last week and all of them look really similar. Not only that, but the hatchery didn’t include any labels or information on which breeds are included in the packaging. They are all black, some have white tipped wings, and one or two have some brown fuzz on their cheeks. Has anyone ordered this pack before? What breeds did your chicks turn out to be?

You will get an assortment that I would call floor sweep. This term is not to be considered offensive, just a realistic gathering of chicks that are extras on hand at hatchery.
If you want specific chickens, then you order just what you want. You will also notice that your order may get way pricier than the TSC offer.
Here is a copy, and paste of some interesting things from the site.

This selection will be a mixture of white and brown egg layers. It may not be exactly half and half but will always have a variety. Some green and blue eggs may be part of the mix as well.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and :welcome

I found some more information for anyone else who is wondering. I looked in the Q&A on this link and someone asked which possible breeds are included. Here is the hatchery’s response:

These will be a combination of: Americana, Black Australorp, Barred Rock, Gold Laced Wyandotte, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Rhode Island Red, Buff Orpington, Country Mile Red, Rainbow, Speckled Sussex, and ISA Brown

The fuzzy cheeked ones are probably Easter Eggers(what the hatchery calls Americana).
Pics of chicks might get you some ID's.

Here is a picture of one of the chicks I took on Saturday. I am at work now, so maybe i’ll take some more tonight and upload them. But all look very similar to this one. Like I said, some have some brown fuzz on the face, and others don’t have the white tipped wings like this one.

Here’s pics of the chicks with brown on the cheeks. I’m hoping this one could be a copper Maran because the dark brown eggs would be fun to have. None of them really have the fuzz on the cheeks like you’d expect an Americauna to have. And again, all of them are black, with subtle variations.
