Trying to get a new duck for lonely pekin

Hey guys. I’ve been trying to get another duck for my single duck. My other duck was taken by a fox 12 days ago. I found a place that would sell me a duck, and was going to drive over there tomorrow, but something came up and I won’t be able to go till March 6. That’s 15 days away... I feel so bad for Peggy, (my duck) but do y’all think she’ll be okay till then? Its probabaly a stupid question, but thanks in advance to whoever reads/replies to this.

Where are you keeping Peggy? can you set up a non breakable mirror in with her? so she can see herself. It helps with ducklings so may help with Peggy. I am sure she is lonely hopefully you can spend a lot of time with her too, Just having someone close can help with loneliness too.

Thanks for taking the time to give me some advice<3 I do have a mirror out there, and have been out a lot lately because i’m rebuilding her run. She likes to follow me around as I work.

Well hopefully Peggy will be okay till you can get her a buddy on March 6th. Sounds like she is liking your company.
