Well, you asked for it! I called this one Baldie because he had no topknot and my friend said it looks like he was growing his brain on the outside of his head.

This was the stupidest broody of all time - she built her nest at the corner of the pen right in front of the door, so every time I came down to feed the chickens, they would all congregate right in front of the door and trample her in their excitement. When I opened the door, she would come tumbling out nest and all and I'd give her a good heave-ho back into the coop. Did this deter her at all? No, she continuted to nest there for 6 weeks straight
