Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I am harvesting herbs already. I harvested all the cilantro and replanted one of the planters. I'll clean out the other and replant that too. Harvested the dill as well. Not sure if I will replant that one just yet, but probably will. I have lots of tarragon, parsley, oregano, basil and thyme when I need them. The green house has worked really great.

Thanks! I finally have some energy to get things done after fighting the flu and colds and a sore throat for the last 6 or 7 weeks. Grandkids have been coming to visit every other weekend and bringing me the gift of disease. LOL.
Oh no! Kids will do that! Hope that is all behind you now!

We're going to have mostly sunny days for the next 10 days. I'm so tempted to get the tomatoes in the ground. What do you all think?
I wait until start of May. Next Monday I'll start giving the plants some outside time to harden them, but I don't plan on putting them in the garden until after the first weekend of May.

One of my plants shot up overnight and is towering over all the others, so it definitely wants to go out. But it can wait a little longer...

Asparagus is coming up! I should have enough to harvest for a meal this week.

I got one of my raised beds weeded, and half of it mulched with grass clippings. The onion/shallot/beet bed didn't get mulch. Once the plants get bigger they'll block sun out to the weeds. The brassica/lettuce bed looks good with the grass clippings mulch. I'm happy with it!

The short plants with roundish leaves in the back corner of the mulched bed are watercress. First time I grew it. Tasted it today and it's peppery.

Okay. That's what I'm going to do. That's only a couple weeks, so I think they can survive in the greenhouse until then. I will definitely start setting them outside for a few hours each day. Right now I have the top of the door to the green house open. (It's a French door style) But I still have grow lights and heat that comes on at night in there.
