Wattles or Waddles? What do YOU say?

Hi! I am new to both chickens in general and the BackYard Chicken site!

One thing I have noticed is that a vast number of users seem to refer to the fleshy chicken chin flaps as 'waddles' when I was sure they were 'wattles'. Are they called different things in different areas? Is this a debate that needs to be settled? Is 'waddles' just a common mispronunciation? OR am I wrong and waddles are a totally different thing!? Let me know I'm curious! Thanks

Wattles. Of course spell checks doesn't always agree. Also, spell check doesn't like pullets. Spell check likes pulleys.
