Hello Everyone from Ohio! New here and excited to find this community!
We have been on our 4 acre property for 11 years now and over the years have discussed adding chickens to our idea of being more self sustaining. We planned for their introduction to the homestead last fall, and NEVER in a million years expected everyone in their brother to be buying chicks this spring-but they have. (Which makes me sad and that can be for another post).
Fortunately, we found 12 females yesterday-and they are looking good this morning in their brooder box.
Looking forward to learning more than I know and joining the big “Chicken Tender” family!!!
