Dust baths are pure joy for quail. I had a dust bath box and mine would get super excited when they saw me go to put it in with them. I didn't leave it in but an hr or so because they will lay eggs in it and beat them all up bathing.

Oh yea, forgot to mention that.
They absolutely ADORE dust baths. That's basically their favorite hobby if they're not eating, sleeping, or laying an egg.
