What did you do in the garden today?

there's a bunch of opossum poop on the top of my chicken run, they killed my neighbors chickens, killed some of my sisters chickens, killed two of my friends chickens, they eat my garden, and even had one decide to come in the dog door once so it could pee and poop all over the dining room.
Possums are stinky, nasty animals. They have their place in the wild, but when they prefer to live around dwellings they're a problem.

Dear Wife just got me a Ninja Air Fryer for my birthday,...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Wooo!

:lau Yeah, well, my birthday was like 4 months away! It's one of those presents like the Christmas I got a new extended showerhead from Dear Wife that was lower, I guess, for my convivence. I did not realize that the showerhead was too high for my comfort! But I was wrong! Anyways, I guess I needed a new Ninja Air Fryer, too.

:love Been married to Dear Wife for 36 years, so I guess I'll smile and say thank you for any birthday or Christmas gift with my name on it. If she finds my presents useful to her, I guess that's just a bonus.

:clap :love That's great! Love to hear success stories. And yes, what works for he works for me. Happy Wife, Happy Life!

I tried one preparing it as a regular over easy/medium and agree with your hubby, texture a bit off and flavor seemed "weak" not so eggy tasting. I used 4 of the WG eggs with 4 fresh eggs for quiche and do the same with dehydrated.

I wanted food preserved if there was a Need and they will work for that.
Dehydrated eggs remind me of the DISGUSTING military meals, needless to say, I only lasted two weeks… I have no idea how my brother still works for the military after nine years of disgusting omelettes and tasteless schnitzel and leftover salads, and worst of all burned canned tuna.

Today I did some weeding

Overloaded my fruit trees and lost some branches even after thinning. I did some pruning of the damage and mourned my nectarines. They were still sweet although hard so me and the kids were eating the loses.

Plum curculio spotted on the outside of my peach tree net here in south jersey for people keeping track of their emergence. I smooshed with relish. I'm a little confused though, because I thought they show up as adults in late summer. Does anyone have any more info on why they are emerging now?

Weeding, weeding, weeding. Was away for the long weekend and I have grasses coming out my ears in the veg garden walkways.

I put the young chicks in w teenagers so I could clean their box. They just stared at me- Get me out of here! 😂
Since it’s clear skies it should rain today 😂
What ever forecast that said the rain would let up in July was wrong. Since beginning of June we’ve had rain almost every single day. Including yesterday.
Pickling time soon
