What did you do in the garden today?

It is implanted. I have 2 electrical leads in my spine between my shoulder blades that run to a battery implanted below my waste/top of my butt. It is most specifically for nerve pain (mine is my legs) but has helped with my actual low back pain a bit too. Here's a pic, you can see the battery, wires & my fusion hardware but can't see the top of the leads, the pic cuts them off. I know everyone here has seen this (sorry all, lol), but I swear by this implant so I tell my story to anyone that asks. My spine surgeons never mentioned it was even a thing, I had to see a pain med doc after 15 years of pain & failed surgeries. It has literally given me my life back. /tmi lol

Thank you for sharing this. That kind of freaks me out seeing that in the body. I guess you don't feel any of it though. I may have to have a discussion with the "quack" about the possibility. The meds they've given me in the past don't touch the pain level and I don't like taking prescriptions, especially if they do nothing to help the issue or they create other issues. After just a few minutes of bending at the waist every day while cleaning the coop, I am in searing hot pain and can barely stand up. Forget about hands and knees gardening; the scrunched position is the worst for lumbar pain. I just deal with it though. As they say, if you feel the pain, you know you're alive. I certainly feel alive. :)

And report back, I hope! :drool
I mixed a pork Indian squash curry with a lamb Indian squash curry and added some Italian meat balls. I already ate the vegan Indian squash curry. I think Indian squash curry taste good with any meat or just by itself. However, I prefer the taste and texture of slow cooked meat.

I started adding a lot of moringa to my Indian squash curry. It gives a nice color and adds a lot of nutrition to the dish. In addition, I'd say moringa has a neutral green leaf flavor and does not affect the overall taste.

Have you tried a chiropractor? I had seriously bad pain in my neck. I’m limited to pain killers because of my kidneys so I tried a chiropractor. Not perfect, but the reduction in pain has made it bearable. My range of motion in my neck has improved as well.

Today is tamale day in my family. We all got together and made a big batch of chicken (pollo) tamale roja. When DD comes back for dinner we’re going all out with pollo con mole, tamales, rice and beans. All homemade. Yum. Most of the tamales will go into the freezer for our holiday meals. I did look at the garden today. Lol!

I have a tens machine that I used to have to use a couple times a day until I started stretching exercises on PBS.
