What did you do in the garden today?

I ordered some turntables from Amazon to make some spinners for my strawberry barrels. The only concern I have is potential for rust. Reading through the reviews, that seems to be a common problem even for the aluminum ones. The ones I ordered are steel alloy although it doesn't tell me what kind of alloy. If I treat them every 3 months with some WD-40, hopefully it will keep the ball bearings from rusting...

I use our reject alpaca fleece, the third cutting class that doesn't get spun.

finally little sunshine. planted 5 cypresses that were meant to be planted in the goat's corral. after they decimated a young eucalyptus tree I decided not to take chances. I planted them in the duck's run next to the goat fence. goats immediately tried to reach them.

Took my MIL to a little tourist trap village by our house. They had a couple of really cool plant stands made from sticks... With as many trees as I have around my house, I could easily make one of these. Might be a nice addition to the garden area
