So ready, have a little surprise for that harbinger of spring, Red Breast Robin, that showed up 3-4 wks ago, a load of 8 bird shot in the 20 gauge.

No disrespect, just curious. Is there a reason to shoot robins?

In the 70s today. Probably won't break 50 tomorrow... I sprayed the fruit trees again with copper fungicide and dormant oil. Had some problems with the sprayer and mix when I did it last week. Since it's going to be between 30 - 50 for the next 10 days, I'm going to put out my cold weather seeds (lisianthus, stocks, and dandelions). I always put them out too late in the spring and they die right away.

Good afternoon all. We didn’t do a lot outside today. It’s warm in the sun despite the breeze, I’m wearing shorts and a tank top today. There will be cooler days ahead to do the hard stuff. We did put up the shade today to check it out. I need to get some paracord or wire to give it some support underneath but I think it’ll work out well.

Interesting. So you cultivate dandelions? I have a bunch of dandelion seeds in the fridge that I saved last summer with plans to plant sometime in the future. Do you have any dandelion growing tips?

Cold stratification, just in case they needed it.

I keep all my seeds in the crIsper drawer of the fridge. They last years longer that way.
