Oh, I'm certain we'd have a buyer within a day if we want to sell. Our property values have doubled in 5 yrs and we live in one of the top 5 school districts in the entire state.OH but the buyer who WANTS to escape the city, but still be close to it to have the mystical "country" life would love to buy it.
(If they could manage the mortgage rates ATM)
If I wasn't faced with the threat of duplexes going up behind my property, I'd likely not consider moving. Our property is 5 acres so there's still plenty of room between us and our neighbors. We also have lots of old, ancient oak trees all over the property which also lends to the secluded, private feeling.
But as the saying goes...
