Despite being in Crawfish Country, I'm in camp crayfish. I have been known to call them all three of those, but never mudbug.

Honestly the mud bug thing is because when I was a kid, a group of friends and I would go fishing, and one of them called them mud bugs the first time we found one. We all thought it was funny so it stuck. Peeps around here usually call them crawdads.
