Thank you all.
Used to be lots of these around here, farmers used them for their cattle.
Looks like a Jack Russel TerrierI have a TX mutt. Next door neighbor passed, so I tossed her in my truck. Coast to coast, week after week, she is 1 of the most loyal dogs I have had.
Now her job is to protect our first little flock. Hopefully that bit of dog brain won't override her training. So far so good. I have heard her coming up the stairs at 3am, after checking on them.
I wanted a dog that doesn't shed, Giant Schnauzer (but they might shed). Standard Schnauzer would be easier to share twin bed in truck.
We hear that a lot.Looks like a Jack Russel Terrier![]()
YesssssssssssLarge dog would be a Newfie or a st benard
Medium would be a aussie or finnish lapphund
And small would be a yorkie
Plus another field golden
Awesome!!!!!!!I will give you my top three wish list dogs breeds. From bottom to top.
3) Great Pyr or Pyr mix
2) Newfie or mix
1) Ovcharka
failing that the most unrealistic but secret wish is a dire wolf.![]()
Nice!!!!!!!A nice medium sized short haired mutt, that would be my pick. Something very quiet and easygoing.
Aw that’s sad.Used to be lots of these around here, farmers used them for their cattle.
Now most have sold off their cattle and only grow cash crops. Sad…
