My husband and I were looking at Rough Collies before we got our pup! They were all just so expensive, so maybe we will have to get one in a few years as our second dog!I think it's always going to be Beauceron but other than that Rough collie today![]()

Wheaten terriers are the. best, especially good with. chickens.. My sons have retrievers, they chase chickens constantly.THIS THREAD IS JUST FOR FUN!!!!!!!!! PLEASE BE NICE TO EVERYONE AND FOLLOW ALL BYC RULES!!!!! NO FIGHTING OR DRAMA!!!!!!
As I’m sure a lot of you already know, most, if not all, dog lovers have A LOT of breeds that they would want to own eventually and that list can change as the years go on and life changes or sometimes even by the day it seems!!!!!! LOL
SO!!!!!!!!
This thread is to hear what breed or breeds you wanting today!!!!!!
You don’t have to ever actually be able to own said breed or breeds!!!!!! This is just for FUN!!!!!!!!
For example, I want a second dog (a friend for Brew) and I go back and forth on what that second dog should be A LOT. LOL TODAY????? I want that second dog to be a female Labrador Retriever. Any color.
Your answer does NOT have to be as specific as mine. You don’t have to mention gender or color. But you can if you want to. LOL
Anyways, your turn!!!!!!
GO!!!!!!!

Yes! I always said I wanted a Kangal, but recently I have just kind of accepted them and anatolians as pretty much the same thing.
They need a lot of grooming?
Ahhh okay that makes sense. I guess I figured it would be just a quick brush since they’re so small lolMine does. Some lines and some dogs need less care, I assume show dogs that are regularly kept in show grooms do not need as much grooming on a day to day basis.
Still, I wouldn’t want to risk it. I could end up with another really high maintenance one, and it would be unfair for the dog
