What Special Treat or Yummy Did Your Flock Get Today?

mine are still in the house but they went out on the deck and helped themselves to my herb garden. they love chives, parsley and cilantro. they also tried to steal our burritos from dinner but we let them have a taste. they were a hit lol.. tomorrow they get the left over half of cantalope.. to soft for us. and some other odds and ends from the fridge

Nothing exciting today but they had an Italian extravaganza last night. Complete with pasta and salad.

King Friday and the girls had strawberries, cantaloupe , shelled peas and radish greens from the garden. The peas were not a big hit. I thought they would go over pretty well. What do I know?

Strawberry tops, a handfull of wild black raspberries and some beet greens.

cooked egg....someone pecked one of the eggs I got today so I just cooked it up and gave it to the hens and my chicks.

today mine got leftover sausage skillet. They're just like my kids, eat the sausage leave the carrots and cabbage...

Went the extra mile today and hit the pet store for crickets and meal worms. Ooooohh, I had some happy girls today!! Its great to watch the younger pullets try to figure out the live crickets, but, boy, once they do....its a chicken free for all!!!

Mine had mulberries, fresh off the tree ( their favorite right now) and some fresh clover!
