When does a pullet become a hen?

I hear people speak of "pullet eggs". When does a pullet become a hen? And then I guess you call them "hen eggs"? My pullets are about 22 weeks old and are laying medium and large eggs. Even one extra large. Are these still called pullet eggs?

A pullet becomes a hen when she turns 1 year old. I consider pullet eggs the small eggs you get for a few months after they start laying. When eggs get big, I just call them eggs.

The term "pullet" means "female chicken under a year old". A female chicken over a year old is called a "hen". Typically, the term "pullet eggs" stands for the odd or small eggs pullets often lay at first. If your eggs are medium sized and average looking them I think you can consider them normal.
