4 years ago tomorrow, my wife and I made the trek to Meyers to pick up 5 little Black Coppers as day olds.

This makes today a pretty special Happy Birthday wish to my 5 OGs that started all this fun !! I've gotten a ton of Joy, learned a couple things, got some pretty eggs and have all of you... my friends, to share all this with.

A funny side bar that wasn't planned. Today is hatch day for 39 BCM eggs in the Brinsea, 17 Olives in the 360, and 11 eggs under 2 broodys.

All sired by my 2 OG boys.

Weighed Kong today.

If my count was right, I'm at 21 so far in the Brinsea hatch.
10 Olives, with 2 more pips and 11 BCMs with 3-4 pips that I could spot.

Edited to add...I moved all the OEs to the 360 at lockdown and they immediately started hatching yesterday.
The Marans seemed to be hatching a little slower this time.

Latest broody check...
W/W still with the 1 with 5 more Solo eggs to go.
Lil Black hatched 2 so far, with 3 more W/R eggs to go.

Copper has a week to go yet and still being her lovable self.

Day 22 head count so far.
39 BCM eggs, 22 out.
17 OE eggs, 13 out.
The BCMs have been hatching slower so hopefully still more to go yet.
