I wasn't able to find a garden thread dedicated to flower gardens, so I'm making one! Show off your flower and ornamental gardens! Outdoor gardens only - there's another thread for house plants.

Looking forward to seeing photos of your beautiful gardens!! And feel free to discuss anything related to ornamental plants.

This is what I call my "Shop Garden" (because it's next to my woodworking shop.. ), and it's probably my best flower garden yet. The creeping phlox is just starting to fade now but other flowers are coming!! There's creeping phlox, garden phlox, hostas, perennial geraniums, irises, speedwell, astilbe, mini daffodils, and pansies.

I don’t have any active flower gardens yet, but I’m working on cleaning out the old flower beds around my house in hopes to have some later this year or next year

Thank you! It has filled out so much since last year. Sometimes I just stare at it....actually a lot of times I stare at it.

I must finish my coops, then my house. at the moment I cannot plan to plant flowers and I miss them.

I have decided to put a bee garden down part of the east side of my sandy soil (vegetable) garden. Nothing is in bloom yet, and some of the varieties won't bloom this year. Eventually, I'd like to have some colorful flowers, buzzing with my honeybees.

Hydrangea and the bottle tree
The iris in front have finished blooming. Behind them are tall phlox that will bloom soon. They are shades of pink, purple and white.

Absolutely gorgeous!
I don't have much time these days to weed things so most of my flower beds are a bit needy.
This one looks ok so far. It's by my driveway and front door. It actually runs another 15-20' past the stones at the top of the picture.

How on earth do you get those blooms so very blue!?! Stunning!!
