They sure do! It’s been raining cats and dogs here so they perch up there when the ground is nasty. But they really prefer my shed when it’s wet outside. I have a doggie door and all the bobs will be inside when it’s raining.
I put the coturnix quail in wire cages that are a couple weeks old. A little bit off the ground. And the bobwhite males stalk the cage waiting to get a chance to peck them too.:rolleyes: I’ll have to raise the cage up I guess.
I have some asshole male bobwhites, can I clip their wings so the can’t chase others quite as fast? I don’t plan on keeping those long term but I don’t want to butcher them right now either.
