Sometimes I have an egg with a hole about the size of a pencil eraser on the very end, the small end, of an egg. It happens because there isn't enough bedding to soften the eggs fall and it pops out a tine hole.

Yes I believe so. But I had such a big swing in temps that I couldn't tell the average temp and had to use a slower adjusting alcohol thermometer

*raises hand* Oh me too me too I will be hatching again :) As soon as I get the incu kit in I will be modifying my chestbator and it will be time to rock and roll! I wont start collecting until after I get everything installed, hopefully that way I wont rush it and will have everything stable.

I have had a sleepy baby like that and it did fine, just seemed to take a few days to get going. It did have me worried tho! My second chick to pip did it at the wrong end of the egg, and it drowned :(
