The staples are bent back into the cardboard itself to no points sticking out! It is a radiant heat bulb the temp is about 33-35 celsius! The black thing is a thermometer What can i use to enclose the bulb.? Im only keeping the chicks one or two nights before is sell

I cannot afford one of those heating pads. I do have a 100 watt bulb of these but i can't find a fitting that handles it! The fitting on this one is only 60 watts

Should i put a little bit of mesh around it?

The temp is the right range for them roughly 35 degrees celsius. The lamp is about 15 cm away. It is only a 50 watt bulb so it doesnt give off much heat

It was a washing machine box. The bracket???? The one hehind the heat lamp?? That is the clamp itself that the bulb is attached too. The mat is just the non-slip stuff you put in your kitchen draws! I might have to cover those staples
