    Looking at the Hoovers website under "Identify My Chick" those do look like the example given for their Chocolate Orps. Then again you got sent "ducklings" so who knows.

    They're Belgian Watermaal, a true bantam (no large fowl version) closely related to the d'Anvers and d'Uccle.

It looks like 7 out of 8 are at least het for crest which is nice and I'm fairly certain the one who didn't is a pullet so I'm not super worried about her.     9/12 eggs that went into lockdown hatched! 7 white and 2 black. I forgot how much quieter and cleaner chicks are then ducklings.

    They're closely related to d'Anvers, they aren't super common in the US and are only ABA not APA (so far). I'm not sure whose picture this is, it's from the US club website.
