Nearly 3 days since anybody posted anything to this thread, I can hardly bear it. I just started a thread about $1.35 Ideal Poultry ducks. They also have similarly marked down chickens, too. Anybody get the Cackle Hatchery's Surprise lately?

Anyone getting guineas in their surprises lately?

I'm so glad you had a good experience and healthy birds. Lately, it had seemed the only surprise involved was how many chicks would die. I had even begun to look at similar offerings at other hatcheries, but none of them could match the fun and excitement of this one the way it used to be.

I wonder if any of these expectancies will arrive tomorrow instead of Wednesday. Is that possible?

I would LOVE to see what people get in the surprise package in July and August. The only poultry Cackle sells in July and August besides chickens are guineas, peacocks, pheasant, and quail. Has anybody gotten this in July or August? Folks seem to rarely get guineas, and then only very few. I...
