I strongly disagree with this statement. Hatcheries have crossed different production type birds into the easter egger lines and that is why there are so many laying brown eggs now. They are mixed breeds.
You cannot determine after an egg has been incubated if it was fertile or not.
I have had two shipments this year that resulted in 5 total chicks and I hatched for someone else two shipments and got one chick.
Most breeders check fertility in their flock by hatching their eggs first and then...
I disagree, there are too many people with good lavenders to get birds that need that much work. Why buy an inferior product when there are lots of people out there with good birds.

That depends on where you live. I only vaccinate for ILT now.
If you live in a warmer climate, you may consider pox vaccine.
I do spray my birds for bugs before I go to help prevent any bugs from hitching a ride home.
Some things your cock bird will get marked down for are: his beard should be all black, his wings are carried too low, his tail is too high, and he has too short of a back. These are all issues in most wheaten/blue wheaten bantam flocks.
The female has a bit of ticking in her hackles and no...
He's too young to do anything with. That spot in the tail looks like follicle damage to me.
So far he looks like a normal cockerel. I don't see anything in these photos that would lead me to consider him a cull at this point.
I did and it made fantastic improvement on the birds type the second cross. I would suggest if you do it to only keep the pullets and only ones that do not express feather shafting.
Keep breeding back to pure silver and yes it will take some time. This is a second or third generation pullet...
Do you have a lot of eggs in it? Sometimes towards the end of the hatch, the embryos start to make their own heat and that could be what is going on.....
