I also have been extremely satisfied with chicks from cackle. I have ordered many surprise boxes and never had any doa. I will continue to order from them. I have ordered from other hatcheries as well and overall cackles chicks have done well compared to others!

I ended up with 47 chicks no doa. I have been too busy to take pics. Had 9 polish 6 cochins lots of chipmunk looking ones and so many more I need to make a list of them and take pics.

My surprise box ships tomorrow I am so excited!

I agree and the ducks are blue swedish ducks and they are cute!

I just picked up my 2nd hatchery surprise for this year and got a total of 57 no DOA 3 turkeys and 2 ducks and a great assortment! Will post a pic soon!

I saw they had chicks and ducks for 50% off and I am tempted to see what they have but we already have 100 chicks and have another surprise box coming next week so not sure it would be a great idea lol I love little chicks!

I agree my first one last year only had chicks so to open the box and find ducks and turkeys i was excited!

Received my surprise today got 51 total no DOA 2 turkeys 2 ducks! Half are bantams, have some EE, 2 silkies, about 6 cochins

Mine weighs 6lbs as well!
