What do you think of this silkie rooster+hens?

What do you think of this white silkie rooster and the silkie hens (one black, one white, and one splash - or is the splash one white with leakage?) They are about 4-5 months on these pictures. I don’t have pictures of their feet, but they all have five toes and feathered feet.

    Silkie gender?

Hi, I have 4 silkies all about 10 weeks old. I think #4 is a girl because her wattle and comb are under developed compared to the others. Any thoughts about the others, all boys? Thanks.

    White Silkie and Polish Gender???

I’ve have an 8 week old white Silkie and silver laced polish. What do you all think on the gender? The Silkie is the dominant one out of the bunch and started crowing a couple days ago. My brother said that his dominant hens crow in the mornings too. The Polish is very calm and not aggressive...

4 Month Old Silkies, Any Guesses On Gender?

So my two silkies, Friz and Porg, are four months (at a guess) old now, and still no guess on their gender. I'm keeping them either way, but I would like to know your thoughts? I think both may be pullets, otherwise my OEGB rooster Gary, would have attempted to fight with them by now(he's...

    Do Rooster Silkies have combs?

Just wondering what the color of the comb of a blue silkie and white silkie is? I can’t pinpoint which one or two are crowing. But I think it’s the one with a black waddle and no comb. I have two with black waddles and one with red comb and waddle.

Hi everyone, We have a 6 month old White Silkie who appears to be broody. I will first off say, we LOVE having our girls. We purposely got silkies and other frequently broody breeds so we could have them do the raising job for us. It also seems to us that letting them sit on eggs is more...
