Duck eggs day 21 Air cell photos and Incubation pictures

I moved Coriander and Div out with the big kids. If Speck freaks out I’ll bring them back. I’m talking to someone who has newly hatched Runner x Campbell ducklings but I probably can’t get them for a week.

My adult ducks came over to visit the babies. The baby pen is inside the adult duck pen so that the babies have 2 layers of fencing. The outer fence is electric net

Currently Speck is eating busily and chattering happily. She’s definitely growing. Maybe she’ll be big enough to go out with the others in another week but I don’t want to risk it if she’s not ready

Just some cute pictures of Speck🥰 She looks so much healthier to me now. I think she’s going to be a beautiful duck (or drake). I might be able to get her a friend as early as Tuesday 🤞

Gorgeous❤️that’s great she’ll have a friend. Does she be like being cuddled?
Unfortunately speck doesn’t like being picked up or cuddled. Probably because in the beginning I avoided picking her up because she would freak out so much. I’m trying to get her used to being picked up.
She loves eating out of my hand and talking to me, and cries when I leave.

I have to drive an hour and a half on the way home with the new duckling I’m getting. I’m going to bring sugar water and stop and check on it a few times, but I’m already stressing about the trip😅

Speck had this very bent toe😢 The toe on the other foot was also slightly bent, but it has now straightened out. I’m hoping this one will too. Of course I’m still giving vitamin B
