From silkie mix to new breed?

I finally gave each one a colorful ring for better identification. The boys continue to look very pretty.

Orion started crowing. I also noticed he's starting to get saddle feathers. Ollie is a pretty little pullet. Onell looks a lot like Oakley. I think I'm going to keep Onell. Even if I don't end up breeding her it's good to have a backup just in case.

About beards
All these chicks should have 1 copy of the beard gene, meaning (correct me if I'm wrong) if I bred Onyx to Oakley I'd get 50% bearded, 50% non-bearded. If I bred Onyx to Onell I'd get 75% bearded, 25% non-bearded.

A little update:

The 2 month olds have gotten sick with coccidiosis. I've been treating them for it. I've sadly lost three. Olive and two of the white pullets (yellow and green rings). Good news is that no more are badly sick. A couple others were looking off a couple days back, but they're almost back to normal now. At least Orion, Onyx and Onell weren't affected. Everything is almost back to normal and if it continues to go the way it is right now then I don't think I will lose any more chicks. At least I hope so.
