Has anyone heard of a smokey pearl chicken?

Yesterday I went tractor supplies and they had chicks. I couldn't resist and got 5 black sex links and 5 smokey pearls. I have been looking for information on the breed and can't find anything. The only picture of a adult I can find for the smokey pearls are the same one that Tractor supplies had. I was just wandering if there is anything I need to know about the breed. Has anyone even heard of the breed before?

I'm too new to chickens to speculate on ancestry, but it looks like a hatchery hybrid layer to me. Similar to sex links except color I expect. They sure are pretty!

They are "a hatchery breed" meaning they are a "sex-link" or a breed the hatchery came up with so it is pretty normal you can't find much information on them. And your chicks are adorable @MadGardener !!

It’s probably another hybrid from Hoover’s that hadn’t been officially introduced into their lineup yet, but are presently breeding. They might be officially released next year (or further) under a different name.

So adorable I am learning that we have 1 Australorp rooster in our first batch and in our second batch we have 3. The hen's tail feathers come in first while the roos still have fuzzy rumps
