It's a sign of one's "issues with chicken math" that when you enter FF&H the staff knows you by name and tells you they "got a new shipment of chicks since you were in...how many would you be taking home today?" Which is analogous to Norm going into Cheers and everyone yelling "Norm!" And passing him a beer.

And what happens? You look in the bins and tell them "2 Buff Orpingtons only because you have at least one of everything else - and also you can't hide more than 2 additional chicks successfully."

My TSC is done with chick days. I thought it lasted longer last year?

And yet TSC (at least in Holland) is already done with chicks for the year. No problem since TSC had very slim pickings this year.

They did. The clearanced them all out the Thursday/Friday before mother's day last year.

Welcome to the new folks! I DID NOT need to hear about FF&H having chicks longer, I've got too many already. Yesterday all the Cackle babies moved to the coop annex with their heat lamp, and today the broody mama moved her two week old's to the back corner of the main coop. Mary
