Roberta, take Saladins advice and forget about them till 8 - 9 months old. As long as they are healthy that's all that counts at this age, they more than likely are genuine Thai's. As for Horst Schmuddes book, I've not got it as I'm not much of a bookworm. But anyway, I don't know how many photos of Thai gamefowl are in that book to give breed examples for Thai's but Thai gamefowl differ vastly in looks and size in each region of Thailand as the North, central and south of Thailand have different fighting rules and styles that I won't go into on here...

YAY! Thanks, guys. I got a little nervous at first, I know they take a while to fill out, just didn't want to keep feeding junk, to get given away and eaten later.
Will post pics when they look as good as yours...

Hello my fellow Shamo fan. "King" is not a bloodline my friend, it's a nickname given to that cock (for good reason) from my families old line (my line) by a couple of gamefowl friends.

Ok so I finally broke down and game myself the afternoon off from pen building and farm construction and took some pics of the fowl. Please feel free to offer opinions ………… enjoy
