Saipans are extinct in their homeland due to being cross bred some much as landrace. I want to breed some to keep pure and some to cross with Legs. I'd love to have a few more like Legs to cross on them with an expanded gene pool. I have high hopes for this project. Never could I have even thought of such from a pet rooster before I got him. I love different breeds of roosters to keep around and Legs is a keeper. Muffs is one beautiful boy too. I think he needs to be paired with the 4 Ancona pullets I have that are laying now. He is a real gentleman with the girls. He will not eat until they get to eat some. Need to get a good picture of him too. I held him a little today. He is not one to like that but tolerates it. He is much more shy than Legs. Legs will sit still in my lap and I think he would go to sleep there using me for a roost.
 
He sure is patient posing for the camera. I think he is going to be a real movie star too.
